The special XJ technology allows for a novel 2.1 configuration. With the XJ300FR it is possible to connect a third speaker between the two main channels. This matrix, mono channel plays the combined content of both channels. This is extremely useful for powering 2 satellites and a subwoofer.

2.1 Speaker Setup
Adding to this flexibility comes the new patented EQ Interlock design - two amplifiers can be clicked together resulting in a 4 channel amplifier using only 1 rack U of space. The XJ-300FR can also be mounted on the wall or inside the cabinet by fastening the short mounting ears to the pre-assigned holes on the side of the amplifier.
With endless configuration scenarios, the XJ-300FR amplifiers can be used as mono (bridged) amplifiers, 2.1 channel amplifiers, 2-channel amplifiers, 4/8/12 and 16 channel amplification with industry leading power density and efficiency.
All the installer or avid user needs to begin any size installation is a given number of XJ300FR amplifiers. No need to buy a cumbersome mix of different amplifiers to achieve a certain number of channels or power level. Besides the simplicity this is an inventory dream for any installer.

Need to wire a complete 7.1 system with very large front speakers? Grab 5 x XJ-300FR. Bridge one for each LCR and use the remaining two for the 4 rear channels. All this using only 3U of rack space!
Approaching 99 percent efficiency, the XJ amp never gets hot and can be placed in a tight rack with components on all sides. At only 1U rack high and half a rack in width, this is an amazing achievement.
The XJ-300FR produces continuous rock solid power - 110 Watts RMS at 8 ohms pr channel and 320 Watts RMS bridged into 8 ohm.

The switching frequency of the output and the amplitude of the power supply is modulated in real time based on the frequency and amplitude content of the input. Advanced Technology
XJ-300FR's brute force springs from the class J amplifier. The patented Class J technology manifests a quantum leap in amplifier technology. The revolutionary aspect of Class J is its ability to combine a high efficiency of 99% with extraordinary bass control.
Class J is an evolution on PWM technology that combines advanced multi-level feedback with an intelligent controller. It modulates the supply voltage and output switching frequency in real time based on the frequency and amplitude content of the input signal. This added level of intelligence to the amplifier offers several obvious advantages such as increased thermal headroom through the amplifier's optimum energy use, dramatically improved bass response and dynamic power capabilities. This results in a harder audible impact that adds a drive to the sound normally experienced only at live concerts.
Crossover, Phase-shift and Volume
XJ-300FR is equipped with variable electronic crossover which is infinitely adjustable from 40Hz to 175 Hz. The optimal setting depends on the connected subwoofer or tactile device. Xj300 also has a continuously variable phase adjustment function, where phase can be changed between 0 and 180 degrees.
The phase setting is optimally set by playing a 50Hz test tone and then rotating the phase adjustment knob until the maximum sound level is achieved at the listening position.v Volume adjustment makes it possible to gain match the subwoofer or the tactile unit with the rest of the system. It also allows the XJ300 to be used without a pre-regulated line signal.

It is important to note that although the xj300fr is extremely efficient and can be put in a packed rack with components on all sides, those components must be passive and a maximum of two xj300fr should be used in the same rack if packed densely and with no forced cooling.
For an installation comprising several Xj300fr in one rack they should be clicked together and then in pairs be mounted with 1 rack U space in between. The space in between should use a perforated front plate or no plate at all. . Any other rackspace not being occupied should have a non perforated blocker plate in them. For 8 amps configured in this way there should be 100CFM of laminar front to back forced airflow.
The amps auto on feature turns them on when they see more than 22mv of input, with a line level nominally being 0.77volts they are extremely sensitive.
